1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. This privacy policy of the Sailor.Expert Website is for information purposes only and does not constitute a source of obligations for customers of the Sailor.Expert Website or service recipients.

1.3. The personal data of the Service Recipient and the Customer are processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997 (Journal of Laws 1997, No. 133, item 883, as amended) (hereinafter referred to as the Personal Data Protection Act) and the Act on provision of services by electronic means of July 18, 2002 (Journal of Laws 2002, No. 144, item 1204, as amended).
1.4. The Administrator takes special care to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular ensures that the data collected by him is processed in accordance with the law; collected for specified, lawful purposes and not subjected to further processing incompatible with these purposes; substantively correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed and stored in a form enabling the identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.
1.5. All words, expressions and acronyms appearing on this website and beginning with a capital letter (e.g. Service Provider, Website) should be understood in accordance with their definition contained in the Regulations of the Sailor.Expert Website available on the Website www.sailor.expert.
2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF DATA COLLECTION AND RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA
2.1. Each time, the purpose, scope and recipients of data processed by the Administrator result from the actions taken by the Service Recipient or Customer on the Website.
2.2. Possible purposes of collecting personal data of Service Recipients or Customers by the Administrator:
2.2.1. conclusion and implementation of a Reservation or an agreement for the provision of Electronic Services (e.g. customer account).
2.2.2. direct marketing of the Administrator's own services.
2.2.3. the Customer's opinion on the Reservation made.
2.3. Possible recipients of personal data of Website Customers:
2.3.1. The Administrator provides the collected personal data of the Customer to the operator performing the charter.
2.3.2. In the case of a Customer who uses electronic or payment card payment on the Website, the Administrator provides the collected personal data of the Customer to the selected entity handling the above payments on the Website.
2.3.3. In the case of a Customer who agreed to express an opinion about the yacht, the Administrator does not disclose the Customer's collected personal data, unless the Customer agreed to publish his name and surname.
2.4. The Administrator may process the following personal data of Customers using the Website: name and surname; e-mail address; contact telephone number; address of residence, date of birth and place of birth, citizenship, travel document number, sailing license number, VHF license number. In the case of Customers who are not consumers, the Administrator may additionally process the company name and tax identification number (NIP) of the Customer.
2.5. Providing the personal data referred to in the point above may be necessary to conclude and implement a Reservation or an agreement for the provision of Electronic Services on the Website. Each time, the scope of data required to conclude a contract is previously indicated on the Website and in the Regulations of the Website.

1.1. 1.2.2. remembering the yacht search engine settings and the list of favorite and recently viewed yachts
1.2.3. remembering data from completed forms, surveys or login details to the Website;
1.2.4. adapting the content of the Website to individual preferences the Service User's preferences (e.g. regarding colors, font size, page layout) and optimization of the use of the Website pages;
1.2.5. keeping anonymous statistics showing how the Website is used.
1.3. By default, most web browsers available on the market accept cookies. Everyone can define the conditions for the use of cookies using the settings of their own web browser. This means that you can, for example, partially limit (e.g. temporarily) or completely disable the ability to save cookies - in the latter case, however, it may affect some functionalities of the Website (for example, it may be impossible to make a reservation).

2. BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING

Providing personal data by the Customer is voluntary, although failure to provide the personal data indicated on the Website and in the Regulations of the Website, necessary to conclude and implement a Reservation or an agreement for the provision of Electronic Services, results in the inability to conclude this agreement.

3. THE RIGHT TO CONTROL, ACCESS AND CORRECT YOUR DATA
3.1. The customer has the right to access and correct his personal data.
3.2. Each person has the right to control the processing of data concerning him or her contained in the Administrator's data set, and in particular the right to: request supplementation, updating, rectification of personal data, temporary or permanent suspension of their processing or deletion if they are incomplete, out of date, false or were collected in violation of the Act or are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.
3.3. If the Customer consents to the processing of data for the purposes of direct marketing of the Administrator's own products or services, the consent may be revoked at any time.
3.4. If the Administrator intends to process or is processing the Customer's data for the purpose of direct marketing of the Administrator's own products or services, the data subject is also entitled to (1) submit a written, reasoned request to discontinue the processing of his or her data due to his or her special situation or to (2) object to the processing of your data.
